Flowers were important to us for our summer wedding. My vision included lots of color, and it was important to me that the florals packed a punch. We hired Nadine early in the planning process and felt totally taken care of from our first call. Working with her felt like working with a true partner in making my vision come to life. And it's clear from both her portfolio and the final product we received that Nadine is an artist.
Our wedding wasn't specifically "non-traditional," but I knew I didn't want a standard bridal bouquet. Color, organic shapes, and statement pieces were important to me, and Nadine understood my goals immediately. She covered all the basics when we first met, asking thoughtful questions and providing ideas as needed. When we realized that almost every flower I loved was a spring bloom, she made thoughtful suggestions for summer swaps, and it was clear that she took care to note my taste when putting together my final proposal.
From the jump Nadine was truly a joy to work with. Along with her knowledge and competence, she brought her fun personality to the table throughout. Because her work is so amazing, Nadine is busy! But we never had to worry that she was too busy for us or that the job wouldn't get done. She communicates timelines well, is transparent with her client-base about her schedule and when communications are coming, and met every deadline she set with us for deliverables.
It can be scary to order florals—it's something most people have never had to do before the biggest day of their lives, and you don't really know what you're getting until the day! With Lancaster Flower Company, we never worried once, and they delivered.

Lancaster Flower Co. is an artist in all things flowers and plants. I had a pretty unique wedding Nordic/pagan style ceremony. We were carrying swords instead of bouquets. I never really gave flowers a thought until they reached out to me. They really can make any aesthetic work. Our centerpieces had skulls and antlers and They used beautiful greenery, dried mushrooms and lotus, to add a wonderful wintery touch to our December wedding. Not to mention the archway 😍😍

I can't recommend Lancaster Flower Co. enough! They are SO SO talented. They made my wedding flower dreams come true. All of the flowers from the wedding day were absolutely stunning and all of my guest had nothing but incredible things to say about them throughout the day and even in the days and weeks following the wedding. Nadine was absolutely wonderful and perfect as our florist! My mother and I met with Nadine one morning then another possible florist in the afternoon and their differences were like night and day. Nadine took the time to get to know me, my mother, and the vision for our wedding. She took so many copious notes about images I was showing her from my Pinterest board and was great with response follow-up questions to clarify any details. We especially loved hearing her personal story and how her company was created. Nadine has been great with responding to questions and making adjustments leading up to our wedding day. What really stood out to us was that she was willing to lose her company money in order to be open and honest with us. We were also planning a separate reception in my home state and was trying to save money and found a set of silk arrangements on Facebook marketplace. We asked Nadine her opinion and she openly told us it would be more cost effective to use the Facebook arrangements and she would be willing to fill in the missing parts with live flowers (for all the bouquets, boutonnieres, and fireplace arrangement). We respected her candor and knew immediately that we wanted her as our florist. I was going for a very romantic vintage feel for our bouquets and fireplace statement arrangement. When discussing specific flowers with Nadine on the first meeting, I expressed an interest in using less common filler flowers like Lily of the Valley instead of baby's breath. Nadine was enthusiastic and quoted us a fair price for the flowers and her work. Fast forward to wedding week and I saw her post on social media that when she went to purchase the flowers for our bouquets she found out the cost of Lily of the Valley was about triple was she charged me. I immediately direct messaged her apologizing and offered to cover the difference. She responded that it was not necessary and she would still stay with our quoted price. Wow! On the wedding day her work was so breath taking. She was able to take a simple Pinterest image and create a masterpiece. I was so happy I waited to see her fireplace piece until I walked down the aisle because it truly took my breath away. It really felt like the arrangement was a part of the fireplace and just enhanced its beauty, but yet it did not overpower the beauty of our bridal party and us standing in front of it. The bouquets were simply gorgeous and had every design I requested and more than I could have dreamed. It included white roses, scabiosa, hydrangeas, lily of the valley, ranunculus, veronica, freesia, and astilbe. Truly a perfect blend of soft whites and blues for a springtime wedding! And, morning of the wedding she was able to incorporate lace from my grandmother's wedding dress, a ring from my other grandmother, and a ring from my late great-grandmother around my bouquet. She also included flowers for our cake and a simple toss bouquet and filled in our silk arrangements with spare flowers where they were needed. An added bonus was that the flowers she selected dried beautifully when I hung them myself and now I will be able to keep them forever. I loved when guests asked me who was our florist because I could not say anything negative about Nadine and was hoping the more I talked about her that they would be interested in using her services themselves in the future. Nadine at Lancaster Flower Co. was a dream to work with. She exceeded so far beyond what I was even thinking for my wedding flowers. The floral arrangement for our arbor and the greenery hoop above our dance floor were two amazing pieces and added so much to the space. My bouquet was so beautiful and the boutonniere were the perfect size. She is so creative and truly has a gift. Nadine was awesome about getting back to my emails in a timely manner and her pricing was incredible for the work she does. I am so happy we chose Nadine to help make our day that more special.
